Ozokerite

Ozokerite and other waxes thicken the lipid (oil) portion of cosmetics and personal care products and help to keep emulsions from separating into their oil and liquid components. These waxes lessen the brittleness of stick products (i.e. lipsticks). We use Ozokerite in Styling products as it also regulates formulation viscosity, has suspension properties, and gives products stability.
