Dicetyl Phosphate
Dicetyl Phosphate is an anionic emulsifier used both to keep the product consistency stable over time and across a range of storage temperatures. In colorants is is used to maintain consistency across the whole range of dye loads necessary to create the broad shade portfolio. Dicetyl Phosphate is used to create a gel network, which is a particular type of cream structure. Additionally this emulsifier helps to keep the cream structure of the colorant constant when mixed with a developer.
