Caprylyl Glycol

Caprylyl Glycol has antimicrobial efficacy and improves that of traditional preservatives. It works also as hair conditioner as it helps to increase the softness or smoothness of hair, reduce tangles and hair surface roughness. Moreover it is an effective humectant (retains water) and emollient (softens the skin) providing a unique feeling on the skin. For this reasons, it is used in a multitude of cosmetic products.
