Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2 is used as a vegan Lanolin substitute due to its high water-binding properties, excellent adhesion to the hair and skin and glossy finish. Therefore it is used in Hair Colorants (to improve sheen after Color treatment) as well as in Hair make-up.It is used instead of Lanolin (which is animal derived) in a wide variety of products including, shaving products, hair dyes and colors as well as skin and hair care products.
